Pilots can make pretty spectacular maneuvers when they are not particularly concerned with either the plane of their own lives. And the forensics of 50K pound aircraft colliding with structures at barely sub mach speed is thankfully not well documented.

I haven't read enough to argue with you, but I am not worried that the terrorists acts were anything other than that.
