Robert Altemari Joins Internap to Lead Professional Services Practice

Former consulting leader with Limelight Networks, Veritas and Microsoft to guide professional services growth and client engagements
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Internap Network Services Corporation (NASDAQ:INAP), a global provider of end-to-end Internet business solutions, announced today that Robert Altemari has joined the company to lead its Professional Services practice.
Mr. Altemari is a senior level information technology executive with over 18 years of experience in all phases of planning and implementation of client/server networks and Internet-based solutions for applications and content. In addition to his professional experience at Limelight Networks (NASDAQ:LLNW - News), Veritas, now a division of Symantec (NASDAQ:SYMC - News), and Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT - News), Mr. Altemari served for 14 years in the United States Navy.

For CDN solutions, Internap consultants have built custom media players, video transcoding systems and advertising and content monetization tools. For IP networking and data center solutions, the professional services team provides network design, optimization and tuning, “remote hands” services and customization of Internap Flow Control Platform (FCP) multi-homing network appliance. Under Mr. Altemari’s leadership, Internap will be developing additional professional services capabilities to enhance core products and build customer relationships.
