the company should have issued a press release. it had an obligation to do that so people would not have bought the stock today under the impression that all was well. that said, chapter 11 is not an obituary. companies do come out of chapter 11 and given the debt to universal chapter 11 was no doubt the only option available. one positive that will come out of the chapter 11 will be trustworthy current financials and that may enable the company to raise funds.
