Good idea when you dont know what you are talking about. I am all for the Jatropha production. I think povered nations with soil too poor to grow other crops will benefit from it. I agree with growing trees and harvesting their fruit for fuel rather than some new companies are preparing to do, like cutting down trees for fuel. I hope it works. I am only saying that if yu plant a tree today it will be several years before it produces enough seed to be worth harvesting for fuel. Therefore I don't see how a plantation that just started being devleoped in AUG of 07 will be in full production by Mid 2008 as posted here earlier. Here is a good site on Jatropha. Appaerntly India had been growing it for a while
