Vision,
I won't say evaluation is easy, but we should be able to place realistic bounds on upper and lower limits. Would you buy this stock at a dollar? - no. Would you buy at one-tenth the price it is now - probably. Why buy it now? We all have to have something we believe in at a particular price. Why would any of us plop an investment into something we can't have at least a gut feel about in terms of value? Why can't we coordinate our collective perceptions about each of the company's products, its management, its track record, and its financial status. Throw in warrant prices. I think warrent prices are a good reflection of what the company thinks the stock value should be. The latest warrant prices were at .02. A couple of years back, prior to the dilution, the warrant issues were at .20. Dilution has gone from 50M to 200M, although 200M additional shares are authorized. If the company was correct back then, the price should be around a nickle. Why did the CEO loan his own money to the company when credit dried up for about 6 cents a share? Why did Corbett buy shares back then at .20? Everybody thought the Safe-T-Bar would catch on. It didn't, and the NHTSA is making certain, through no other reason than bureaucratic incompetency, that it doesn't. Earlier than that it was modular classrooms, a great idea - MJXC couldn't compete. But they were honest about it and admitted they underbid their projects. Now we have the Guard, and possibily another year before the school bus world hears about it. Even if they did, in the present economy, school districts are saying they're sorely underfunded - but if they're liable for lawsuits for not installing the guard, ... maybe...we'll see government procurements. I have no faith in the diesel product just yet. Too many fly by night outfits have used something similar to delude investors. I hope MJXC can hold on until the guard produces, then possibly work the Bar and maybe the diesel device, if it truly works.
Well, that's a ramble and it probably gets no closer to a value level. At .25, this company has a capitalization of a half million dollars (200M shares). Is the Guard patent worth a buyout at that level to a bus manufacturer - Navistar or somebody. It's not out of the question. Just looking for brainstorms that we can hang some sort of value on.
