Data -- Connecticut's original 1639 document was first superceded and replaced by the Charter of the Colony of Connecticut in 1662 (which in turn has itself long since been superceded and replaced more than once) ( http://www.sots.state.ct.us/RegisterManual/SectionI/SecITOC.htm#Historical ) -- accordingly, Connecticut's original 1639 document has precious little if any continuing relevance even in Connecticut -- as it also had precious little if anything directly to do with how our federal constitution was drawn up -- just as the bible itself had precious little if anything directly directly to do with how our federal constitution was drawn up
