When I read the PR I thought the same thing.
They lost almost $2MM on 3 projects?
They said they hired an additional project manager. Seems like too little, too late.
I'm a consultant in the construction industry, and I know that in most cases fixed price contracts can almost always be adjusted for unforeseen problems that cause cost overruns.
If management signed a contract that didn't include that clause, they are bumbling idiots.
