Swenglish is the mashing up of the languages of Swedish and English. Everyday Swedish is peppered with English words, especially George Carlin's favorite English word. The alternate is Svengelska; mixing of the two languages, but spelled in Swedish. Svenska and Engelska.

Some fear the extinction of the language. Doubtful. Upon returning from Germany, Danish sounded so good, then hearing Swedish on the bus when I got near home was like a song and all was right in the world.
