Herbicide prices are the one to watch now. Rumours that Monsanto is putting up glyphosate by US$5 a gallon on agweb.com. I've bought some physical and will sit on it for 2 years. Some buy gold and silver, I buy glyphosate and other unsexy, essential items LOL!

Feed barley traded as high as $430/t here last week. A $70/t premium to where our wheat price is trading. Going to be a big barley year in Australia next year ... if it rains! One thing this year will teach people is that big acre swings don't necessarily translate into big commodity supply increases. Wheat was supposed to be back at $3.50/bu by now ... hehe.

Incidently never got across to the wedding in Trochu otherwise would have definately tee-ed up to meet you and check out the farm (you rent out?).
