GLXI Claims DD:

I have been doing some DD on the GLXI claims using the GESTIM site. This is the official public register of mining titles and claims in the Quebec Region maintained by the Government of Quebec (see web link in i-Box above). It’s a very useful resource, free to register and can be used to search the database for current registered owners of claims, active and otherwise. For the purposes of this review, I have only researched claims that are currently ‘active’. Each claim owner has a unique GESTIM reference #. These are placed after the claim owners in the text below, so that anyone wishing to check my findings can plug these numbers into the database for easy reference (i.e. just use the #,’s no names required.)

In total, GLXI has 425 claims at present in Quebec. 331 of these are located near the town of Tasjujag in Northern Quebec and 94 located in the Greenville region of Southwest Quebec. The purposes of this review is to find out who GLXI purchased these claims from and in so doing, try to answer the question posed on the GLXI website:

“…..the acquisition of these claims were made possible by acquiring the assets of an existing Canadian Mining Company including its key staff, in return for a percentage of the Company's control position.”

Who are they then and who now has a percentage control of GLXI?

A. Northern Quebec: 331 Claims near the town of Tasjujaq
.
Initially 222 Uranium mining claims were acquired ‘situated in sector 24L01 adjacent to the exploration sites owned by two mining corporations, namely Uranor Inc. and Canadian Royalties Inc.’as per the PR of 31st January 2007.

http://www.marketwire.com/mw/release_html_b1?release_id=209466

In the PR of 20th February 2007, it stated that an additional 109 claims were added in the vicinity of Tasjujaq in Northern Quebec, Canada. It also stated that, “…..This region has significant proven Uranium reserves, and major players including Uranor Inc. and Canadian Royalties Inc are already exploring sites in the area surrounding Globex's claims.’’

http://www.newswire.ca/en/releases/archive/February2007/20/c2172.html

So again the question, who were these claims purchased from?

Firstly I carried out a review on the GESTIM site of the active claims in Sector 24L01, the area mentioned in the PR above.

Sector 24L01

Total number of Active Claims in Area = 601

This breaks down as follows:

Peter Ferderber ( GESTIM # 871)= 83
Uranor Inc (GESTIM # 20652) = 518

So based on the above review, the only party that GLXI could have bought active claims from in Sector 24L01 (other than Uranor Inc., also mentioned in the PR), was from Peter Ferderber, as there are no other parties that have active claims in that sector. That accounts for 83 of the 331 claims that GLXI have in the area. So where are the other 248?

I then investigated all the sectors surrounding 24L01, to check claims ownership in those as well. If you can imagine a large square, divided up into a grid of 9 smaller squares ( 3 squares x 3 squares), with Sector 24L01 at the centre of this grid, the sectors (starting from the top left square and working around in a clockwise direction) are laid out as follows, 24L07 (top left), 24L08 (top middle), 24K05 (top right), 24K04 (middle right), 24F13 (bottom right), 24E16(bottom middle), 24E15 (bottom left) and 24L02 (middle left). It would be easier if I could draw it for you but hope you get the picture.

The active claims found in these surrounding sectors are as follows:

24L07 (top left)

Active Claims = 0

24L08 (top middle)

Active Claims = 376

This breaks down as follows:

Peter Ferderber ( GESTIM # 871)= 306
Uranor Inc (GESTIM # 20652) = 70

24K05 (top right)

Active Claims = 0

24K04 ((middle right)

Active Claims = 529

This breaks down as follows:

Peter Ferderber ( GESTIM # 871)= 219
Canadian Royalties Inc (GESTIM # 18783)= 268
Mines Virginia (GESTIM #82860) = 20
Sage Gold (GESTIM #20866)= 19

24F13 (bottom right)

Active Claims = 1

24E16 (bottom middle)

Active Claims = 0

24E15 (bottom left)

Active Claims = 0

24L02 (middle left)

Active Claims = 0

Well we know from the PR that “Uranor Inc. and Canadian Royalties Inc are already exploring sites in the area surrounding Globex's claims.’’ So the only source of those additional 248 claims in the area (assuming that neither Uranor Inc or Canadian Royalties gave up any of their claims) can only be from Peter Ferderber, Sage Gold and Mines Virginia. We know that the PR stated that the GLXI claims are surrounded by, ‘active claims held by Uranor and Canadian Royalties Inc’. It is, therefore, highly likely that those additional claims are from Sector 24K04. In any event, the only party that has sufficient active claims in the surrounding area to meet the total claims owned by GLXI (331 total) is Peter Ferderber (with a few possibly purchased from either Sage Gold or Mines Virginia…but no way to confirm that at present). No other party holds sufficient active claims in the area to be even considered.

B. South West Quebec: 94 Claims "Greenville" South West Quebec, Canada.

In the PR of 22nd February 2007, the Company stated that they had acquired an additional 94 Uranium Territory Claims. These territories are located in Historical geologic area of "Greenville" South West Quebec, Canada.

The PR of 28th of March 2007 stated reports from findings in Sector 31 J.

http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/070228/to436.html?.v=10

I checked into the claim holdings of the recently appointed Lead Project Manager. He holds claims in Sectors beginning with 31I and 32F as detailed below, not 31J as stated in the PR. This could be a typo or it could be that these recently acquired claims are from another source. I think it is quite likely that it is a typo and that he is the connection to those additional claims. The coincidence just seems too great but this is still to be confirmed.

Jean-Claude Dentinger (GESTIM # 20514)

Active claims = 267

These are broken down into the following sectors:

31I16 = 78 (registered 5th July 2006)
32F12 = 151 (registered 10th/ 11th January 2006)

32F05 = 11 (registered 13th March 2007)
32F06 = 11 (registered 13th March 2006)
32F11 = 35 (registered 13th March 2006)

Interesting to note that a number of those claims have been registered in the last week.

Summary

These connections, with Peter Ferderber in particular, could prove to be very important to the future of GLXI. If the above is correct, this is certainly not just some start-up operation jumping on the uranium ‘bandwagon’, but an experienced and well respected mining geologist/ engineer taking a percentage of his claims public through GLXI, along with his key staff and considerable connections; with third parties/ shareholders providing the financial backing to make this a reality. It would also help to explain why the fieldwork and discussions of JV’s are so far advanced at such an early stage.

Peter Ferderber holds 4025 active claims in Quebec. All these are located in areas commencing with map reference 24 (i.e. Sector 24L01), the region where GLXI holds the majority of its current claims. The claims that GLXI have almost certainly secured through their connection with Peter Ferderber, could then be just the beginning………

We will have to wait and see as things unfold:)
