DIOS REPORTS TWO OTHER URANIUM ANOMALIES ON HOTISH
Dios Exploration Inc. has found two other uranium anomaly clusters on its large wholly owned Hotish property. There are therefore, three first-order lake bottom sediment uranium anomaly groups (Uranerz classification) outlined by Dios's recent geological compilation work on Hotish centre. These several-kilometre-large uranium anomalies are aligned along what appears to be a lineament structure in association with the unconformity contact. Some anomalous lakes hosting one of these anomalies reach 175 and 44 parts per million. In addition, Dios confirms having consolidated its significant landholding in the area through claim acquisition.
A first uranium anomaly (first-order (Uranerz) lake sediment anomaly) was reported in Stockwatch Dec. 14, 2006, by Dios on Hotish centre in association with the geological unconformity. This first unexplained anomaly formed by a group of lakes covers 3.5 square kilometres while the other two cover respectively 10 and 29 square kilometres. Preliminary studies are under way to find the rock sources. The Hotish property covers the western shallow end of a Proterozoic-age basin over an Archean basement, a geological context worldwide known for its uranium potential. Cameco, the largest uranium producer, owns a large land position directly east of Dios's central Hotish property.
Dios's research team is very pleased with the first results from the preliminary evaluation for uranium oxide potential on the Hotish property and the lake sediment data are deemed very good as an exploration tool.
