atout:

From the french "atout" which means asset or trump card. (and not "a tout" as some have pointed out! LOL).

Pronounced [a tu] (you should hear it pronounced when opening the post)

Example: "Elle a tous les atouts dans son jeu" which means: She has all of the winning cards. Or "Vous etes un atout dans l'equipe" which means "You are an asset to the team.

I have hoped to have and be both definitions on iHub!

The cards (les atouts), 21 of them, are part of a Tarot card game. Tarot is a trick-taking game played in Canada and France with a 78-card Tarot deck. In the picture, examples of these cards are on the left with the big numbers.
