So just like that, they all vanished? (I saw what you did there!! wink wink.)

SHAREHOLDER=GOOD
PUMPER=BAD
BASHER=BAD

So just say there are no pumpers and that just leaves SHAREHOLDERS (good) and BASHERS (bad), huh? Seriously? But why not do the same with the "Bashers"? After all, aren't bashers, for the most part, just complainers, critics, negative DD (truth!!) conveyors (sometimes), grumblers, whiners, bellyachers, disenchanted (former?) shareholders, etc.? Yep. So, then, let's also dispose of the word and they'd be gone also leaving just "SHAREHOLDERS and NON-SHAREHOLDERS!! Nice, huh?

So you don't believe there's anybody here trying to PUMP UP the share price, maybe even EMBELLISHING news and every little thing to make EVERYTHING look better then it might be? I sure do. But isn't that why some are called "Pumpers"? Methinks so. Here's just one example:

"Sellers gone...
Next week May wink" [April 28, 2023]

Which was BS!! But, anyhow, I actually believe this recently from "The Middle School Playground" Board:

IHUB used to be infested with hundreds of scam pumpers roaming IHUB boards in large groups, stealing from the less informed by lying about the potential for big gains (while they sold into the hype)...

...If we are down to just a few IHUB scam pumper clowns, less damage can be done to the less informed… and less influence will be needed from the truth tellers.

The problem is that both pumpers and bashers can be LIARS (bad!) at times. Up to each individual trader to do their own DD instead of believing others all the time.

But, come on. most everyone on stock message boards knows what is meant by "pumper". And to say there are none here is, imo, BS. But, perhaps, it could be said there are various DEGREES of pumper (i.e. Light pumper, heavy pumper, etc.) Or would you like to argue the word with George Sharp himself who has said:

Pumpers have an agenda

Stop listening to pumpers!

And even calling one here out BY NAME!

Gawd, I wish the pumpers would stop pumping my stocks. I mean you @D*********

And note he said "pumpers", PLURAL!)

And that named "pumper" has just 870+ posts on this board but there is another person here who has 13,440+. So one can be called a "pumper" by GS while the other one can't? LMFAO!!

But, anyhow, what makes so many think "Bashers" are "bad" anyhow? Is it because so many believe this "Investment Philosophy" (from a traders profile):

I never bash another stock. That's somebody's food on the table. Alot of theories of why this is done, but definitely the person is an a-hole.

I believe that. That some sharehholders will only PUMP but never BASH because of that type of investment philosophy. But, if that is the case, then who is left to post the NEGATIVE NEWS that might even be TRUE?? THE BASHERS THAT'S WHO!! So what makes "Bashers" so "bad"?? Imo, many (not ALL!) are the HONEST ones!!

This from a person's Default Signature:

1) Do I own stock?
Answer: No. I don’t invest in penny stocks.
2) Why am I here?
Answer: I like debating things that I have a 95% chance of being right about.
3) Am I a paid basher?
Answer: Wait…what? You can get paid for this?

Here's just THREE possible reasons, out of many, that a non-shareholder and, yes, sometimes an actually SHAREHOLDER might "bash":

https://investorshub.advfn.com/The-Truth-About-771

Altruistic Basher: An individual that has a true concern for the welfare of others and attempts to keep an unknowledgeable investor away from a security by posting negative information that sheds light on the scam or the pump.

Defrauded Basher: An individual who realized that "their" stock was a fraud, and partly feels the need to vent, and in addition, wants to warn others not to make the same mistake.

Cybersleuth: is an individual who uses the resources available on the World Wide Web for research. Generally applied to someone who ferrets out information about organizations, policies and procedures from the abundance of material available on-line.

(Actually, I'd add "Revenge Basher" to that list. That is, someone who might have the above "Investment Philosophy" but almost be compelled to bash another ticker, in which they don't have shares of, in the hopes of harming and/or ridiculing another trader who might have pissed the revenge basher off on a ticker the revenge basher is a shareholder of and sometimes even STALKING the offending trader to other boards and/or even becoming a Moderator there for a reason to STALK daily! (Of course that means, "Bashing" here BAD, bashing there good. smh).

But doesn't GS himself BASH tickers/CEOs? Er, yeah, even having his own "ShitList" of tickers/CEOs!!

And what does GS say about "bashing"?

I am a major $HMBL investor both directly and indirectly through $FORW. That does not mean that I will not call out mistakes. It's what makes me credible. I am also an investor in $TSLA and that genius/idiot makes tons of mistakes.

What??!! Bashing can actually make a person "Credible"? Or just George Sharp?

And what to make of the barchart "OPINION" which, currently is giving $GVSI a "72% SELL"?? Is Barchart itself a "basher" for its "opinion" and/or anyone who might merely convey that opinion to the board? I don't think so. How about you? What do you think ?

Oh, and don't forget, that sometimes "pumping" is illegal:

https://app.achievable.me/study/finra-sie/learn/rules-and-ethics-prohibited-activities-market-manipulation

Pump and dump
Pump and dump schemes involve the intentional spreading of information (sometimes embellishing truthful information) in an effort to create additional demand for a security. Once the additional demand results in a higher market price, those who spread the information “cash in” by selling the security.

But who is it that often calls out/corrects/refutes the "Pumper"? "Bashers"!!!

Can you imagine all the "Pumpers" (hypesters, supporters, etc.) in the tickers mentioned below and all the "Bashers" who were refuting their positive sounding DD/comments? Well, good for the bashers for, at least, the warnings, no?

https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=167347477

Anyhow, please get over it. You see, "Pumpers" can be bad and sometimes "Bashers" can be good. And vice versa.

GLTY

P.S. There was a time, a long time ago, when I actually believed bashers were paid and/or wanted "cheap shares". Then, somewhere along the line, I became one myself. Probably part of the learning process.

Hey!! My posts are just MY OPINION(S) AND MUSINGS at the time of posting them and are subject to change, okay?
