It's great, but not quite as great as you might think. The company in question (JMP Securities) raised their 12 month price target to $53 as you were saying. But they already had a target of $45 and so was just raising it a bit as opposed to a new firm coming out and initiating coverage on ALT with a $50+ price target. If a new firm does that, we'll see another significant pop I believe.

But either way, ALT is a potential life changing stock. I bought it years ago for the intranasal flu vaccine, which turned into me holding it hoping for an intranasal covid vaccine. If that gets approved, it would make the stock worth well over $100 a share in my opinion. Having another shot on goal with this weight loss drug in clinical trials is fantastic. If this makes it through Phaae III clinical trials it will be spectacular. So....a lot to like here! Speculative to be sure, but the covid vaccine would be something else. No needles and no refrigeration needed. Would be huge!
