I agree, that many different perspectives can teach us a lot!

Also highly recommend learning technical analysis as it has paid of significantly for me personally.

One of my favorite books is Mark Minervini's Trade Like a Stock Market Wizard where he teaches the VCP (volatility contraction pattern), a very powerful trade setup. I also very much look for Cup w/Handle setups but tend to take them early to get an ever better return. Once you have a strategy that works well for your personal style, then it's just a matter of being consistent with it. Technical Analysis is definitely at the core of my strategy.
