You don't have to like bitcoin or even understand it and that's ok.

However, calling Bitcoin a pump and dump is about as wise as calling the internet or blue tooth technology or AI technology a pump and dump. Just because you don't understand it when it first comes out, doesn't make it a pump and dump.
