This whole story is getting silly. If you want to figure out what something is, first eliminate what it's not. What's left is your answer.
It's already been determined with proof the dividend wasn't cleared through FINRA for distribution. And was never given to the TA. All dividends must go though the TA. If the TA didn't divvy the out, it's not the company, or FINRA.
This narrows the choices to it can only come directly from the brokerages.
Go ahead and call 1/2 dozen brokerages indicating you want to randomly distribute $4.7M to FAGI shareholders and let's see what they say. My guess is you'll be put on hold and they will never come back! That eliminates regular people.
So it's not the company, it's not Jeff Bezos or some other billionair.
Its the brokerage houses.
What could cause a brokerage house to distribute cash that hasn't been announced on the Daily list?
A.) They were forced my mobsters?
B.) Every brokerage made a huge mistake based on no facts?
C.) Many broker-dealers were sucking FAGI dry. They saw the dividend announced, but then didn't give it any notice after the dividend suspension was announced so they we're forced to cover with cash because there are so little tradable shares on the float.

When I see a company like FAGI last December trade 16m shares in 30 days, with only a 2-3m float, even Helen Keller could see was going on. No company can trade 8x their float without the float instantly increasing to match it unless they were naked shorting. If it was dilution the float would instantly be 16m shares. In this case it never changed.
Any naked short is responsible for paying the original owner of the stock the dividend. Fact.
