No...

BSRC has to demonstrate that the battery works.

...I don't think that is what is happening at this stage. We (BSRC) don't make batteries. Ferroglobe doesn't make batteries either. I believe what is happening at this stage is that BSRC is demonstrating it's pixie dust or magic juice to Ferroglobe so that Ferroglobe can incorporate our MATERIAL (Si anode ADDITIVE material) into Ferroglobe's Silicon (Si) raw material...that they sell and distribute around the globe...to battery manufacturers of all sorts that use Si (Silicon) in their Lithium Ion Batteries...

From the Ferroglobe+BioSolar PR:

Ferroglobe Signs a Joint Development Agreement with BioSolar, a leading developer of breakthrough energy storage technologies
Joint efforts with BioSolar will focus on developing and joint marketing of silicon anode materials for high power, high energy lithium ion batteries

With its proprietary technology relating to silicon anode material for lithium ion batteries, BioSolar believes Ferroglobe is a natural fit as a developmental partner. As the global leader in the supply of silicon materials, Ferroglobe possesses experience in incorporating technologies such as BioSolar’s silicon additive technology into its own raw silicon materials.

Remember, there are TWO components to the battery. The CATHODE and the ANODE. Ferroglobe is the Silicon ANODE side of the equation. Our (BSRC)'s CATHODE side is the supercapacitor that was patented by BSRC Scientific Advisors Dr Alan Heeger, Dr David Vonlanthen, BSRC CEO Dr David Lee and BSRC CTO Dr Stan Levy. BSRC's ANODE side is mostly the work of BSRC Scientific Advisor Dr Sung-Jin Cho. All Doctorates, PhDs.

Flashback to this PR ~~~~~

We signed an NDA with Ferroglobe on December 18, 2017. They told us to "show them." We did and completed Phase 1.

Ferroglobe said...

“We are excited to partner with BioSolar, a company whose technology represents tremendous upside in the development of lithium-ion batteries with respect to capacity, efficiency and safety,” said Benoist Ollivier, EVP-Technology at Ferroglobe. “We continue to focus on the development of high value added advanced materials, and are confident that our focus on silicon anode material development will yield results that ultimately reduce costs and improve output.”

You'll notice that the PRs, in the "About BioSolar" sections says...

By integrating BioSolar's high capacity cathode or anode, battery manufacturers will be able to create a super lithium-ion battery that can double the range of a Tesla, power an iPhone for two days straight, or store daytime solar energy for nighttime use.

So, I'm thinking that the JV with Ferroglobe involves only the ANODE, the Si (Silicon) ANODE Additive...I'll have to read the Phases in the 8K agreement again...but I believe Phase 2 is Ferroglobe sending out cells to 10-50 battery manufacturers that have their pure grade silicon with BioSolar DNA Inside®...the pixie dust additive...making all of their (global manufacturers) batteries enhanced...Super Batteries! :)

Harken back to this earlier article and post of mine...and replace "Sila's anode powder" with "BioSolar's anode pixie dust", lol...

"Sila’s anode powder serves as drop-in-replacement for graphite powders when making anodes and could be used by every lithium-ion battery manufacturer in the world..."

...THAT'S what I'm talking about!

BSRC increases capacity by 100%! Doubles capacity!
