I'd like to see the gap get filled before ar run to $13 happens...

In this daily bar chart of AMD, below, we can see that AMD made a peak back in July around $15.50 and earlier this month dipped below $9.50. Is AMD ready to start a fresh advance? Prices have rebounded recently with an upside gap and have closed above the declining 50-day moving average line. AMD is still below the declining 200-day average line. The daily On-Balance-Volume (OBV) line has roughly moved lower with prices the past year but now shows a slightly higher low in April when prices made a slightly lower low. This minor bullish divergence could mean that the selling pressure has begun to reverse. Earlier this month the trend-following Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) oscillator crossed to the upside from below the zero line for a cover shorts buy signal.

In this Point and Figure chart of AMD, below, we can see a strong move up and a price target of $13.99 or call it $14. There is, however, a strong amount of overhead resistance between current levels and $14.
