That makes some sense. However, I am struggling to believe that is the case simply because any client like that could easily find out that the goal was to get 20k subscribers, and with no announcement of a trip to Hawaii it appears that the actual number is less than that.

If in fact that is the kind of strategy being used I don't see what harm there is in simply saying "we met the goal - we're going to Hawaii" without revealing the number at all. That keeps the actual number confidential from the MLM company he is negotiating with but shows shareholders that this is off to a great start.



My philosophy is to just be honest and balanced, and let the market decide if it agrees or not.
