There is too much abnormal happenings in the air lately, people doing damn crazy things. Now I found out that they have lowered the cabin pressure differential from 8000 feet to 6000 feet. Seems it reduces skin fatigue and increases the number of cycles before the the airframe must be retired or go through a very expensive referb. I believe capitalism has reared its ugly head once again at the consumers expense. The military planes I worked on used a 10000 foot differential.
