Our Chinese trip confirms JBZY real car company! After we discovered JBZY at the beginning of the year (at that time the stock symbol was DOLV), as many of you we were wondering if it is a real Chinese company that manufactures and sells electric cars. Our investigation confirms that it is!!!

This Thanksgiving, we visited China as tourists. Because of the language barrier, we asked our Chinese guide to make a phone call to JBZY, using two numbers listed on their website posted on this blog. We wanted to see and tour their factory. The first number appeared to be disconnected, but a woman answered on the other number (which turned out to be a cell phone). She said that they couldn’t accommodate our request because they were receiving too many requests like this from other foreign investors. Our plan was to visit their store, but based on our experience in China, very few people there speak any English. We realized that we couldn’t obtain a lot of information about JBZY by ourselves. So we asked our Chinese guide to find a reliable person to visit the company’s store at the address listed on their website (Office Building 5F, Cultural Industry Park, at 149 Weiziken Road, Fengtai District, Beijing, China). We hired that person to take pictures of the store and cars inside and to find out if JBZY is manufacturing and selling their own cars. AND THEY ARE!!! The lady we hired went to the store, obtained this information for us, and took pictures and made a short video. We received the results of her investigation and her pictures by e-mail (we have more pictures!) The store is a pretty large, fully operational car sales showroom and as you can see on the pictures, JBZY sells their own cars (as well as electric cars of other Chinese manufacturers) at that store. They manufacture and sell several different models (including sedans, an USV, and a minibus) and offer them at different prices. You can buy their cars at that store. Before our trip to China, we couldn’t even imagine how big China is on electric cars. Everywhere in Beijing, Xian, Chengdu and other Chinese cities we visited we saw many electric cars, motorcycles and scooters (most of them of unknown brands to us), roaming the city streets. We saw only a few gas powered motorcycles and scooters; the absolute majority of them are electric. China seems to be so much ahead of us when it comes to electric vehicles. With so much demand and interest in electric vehicles in China, we believe JBZY has a very bright future.
