Interesting info from their website:
NanoAir is a breakthrough application that addresses both Heating & Cooling and Refrigeration. A single NanoAir unit can replace traditional heaters as well as air conditioners, while simultaneously delivering better air quality and significantly higher efficiency. NanoAir can also be used to significantly lower temperatures, offering an extremely efficient alternative to conventional refrigeration units. By using only water, NanoAir offers the opportunity to completely eliminate ozone-depleting fluorocarbons currently used in HVAC and refrigeration units.
NanoAir can be deployed in all types of commercial and residential buildings, data centers, medical facilities, homes, cars, trains, buses, retail display coolers, refrigerated trucks, and others. Transportation applications have taken on a greater sense of importance with the recent announcement that the U.S. Government plans to raise auto gas mileage standards and cut greenhouse emissions in this sector.
Simplicity of production adds value to NanoAir. The application is constructed from Dais’ proprietary nano-materials and a modest number of commercially available HVAC parts. Generally, current industry installation techniques are used. The result is lower maintenance costs and increased ease of use.
This application’s efficacy has been proven at two levels. First, NanoAir utilizes the same polymer membrane as ConsERV, thus confirming the functionality of the technology. Dais has also produced a “sub-1 ton” NanoAir prototype (now in its second generation), which has shown positive results. Dais plans to scale, produce, install, and field-test ten 5-ton equivalent systems, and is working with selected industry system manufacturers to license the application and sell NanoAir components. Ultimately, Dais will release this product to commercial markets on a geographic basis, creating a revenue stream from the sale of these systems.
