This is a sad question for me. Do all brokers auto factor in commissions for the capital gains? I always assumed they did so I never took it out. I believe TDA does but Im trying to figure out if Etrade does or other brokers. Otherwise I just screwed myself for the past 15 20 years.

Your stock trades are your own responsibility. No one forces you to make the trade. Always take responsibility for your own decisions and you will never have anyone else to blame
