It's no longer "just the word of vplm"...
It's the David & Goliath element..
It's the vplm vs the world of voip element..
It's the untold number of $billions now coming to focus..
It's the unprecedented clean sweep. (does this mean I was correct about the clean sweep sounding sexy & all that, but at the eod, not as "validation adding" as touted, or, is it correct as you look at the killer breakout going on, that the added validation is indeed there, even if in an abstract way?)
As to the MO of good reporters. Not many good reporters around d anymore, esp if all they listen to is Google & Facebook about endless coverage on the Kardashians & George Clooney & hip hop bar fights, etc. There are maverick reporters. There are independent reporters. There are true "journalists" as opposed to Google/Apple puppets on a string. This is a big freaking story. There is still the possibility that there is scam in vplm or mistaken beliefs or maybe that it really is "all that" w/respect to the patents. None of those possibilities precludes this from now being a bona fide big big story due to the potential implications, ie, the money, the court system angle, the USPTO/PTAB angle, the various legal questions it will be answering, the making of several billionaires & many millionaires, the changes in the patent system which are possible, the changing of the patent climate, the biggest rags to riches story in pennystocks ever told, etc etc etc. It is the potential that all thst POSES that makes this a story worthy of any major media outlet imho.
