I hope he is telling you the truth on his emails and he is actually visiting new potential vessels. 2 things are certain:
a) he will land new vessels to the fleet and
b) there will be new revenues reported as the vessel is a working one

So let's just see how he goes, there can't be a total chaos either way, as the dry bulk market keeps soaring last few months, and both freights (revenues) and vessels' value are increaaing.
