Well the gm is perhaps one of the worst I have ever seen and he kind of fired me up with his dumb comments earlier in the week. Who need stanton when we got nimmo, a whole of others he said as well. He thinks he is funny no mets fan would agree with him though. Furthermore his trades at the deadline last year are baffling to me still. His drafts have been deplorable. And I should be what thrilled that this guy is the gm?

As for 2015 it wasn't and aberration, because 2016 occurred as well or did you forget that. Last year the team left themselves short very short in the bullpen. They almost never played with a setup man almost every player went on the dl at some point last year, the entire pitching staff was hurt. Now if your gonna tell me their whole pitching staff will remain injured again this year and they will never be healthy again then 2015 and 2016 will never be repeated they were built on the young pitching that was not and aberration, but if their health of all of them suddenly will never be the same then this era I agree will not be sustainable that could be said about any team by the way if suddenly your core never stays healthy.

There are simple things that can be done to make me happy, I don't need the mets to go out and spend a ton of money, but a reasonable amount. How good they be will be dependant on how the young pitching bounces back if they stay healthy, then they will have a chance in a very weak division to be a wc, if they add the pieces they need to which is at least 1 more reliever, another of, a 2b or 3b, and an upgrade at 1b. All is just my opinion, and I could always be wrong though.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
