Groupon Promotes Product in Multiple Cities
Tustin, CA -- December 14, 2017 -- InvestorsHub NewsWire -- Freeze Tag (OTC: FRZT), a leading creator of mobile social games, today launched ZeeTours a new location-based game that combines fitness, learning and fun into an unforgettable experience. The self-guided city tour app is now available for download on Apple and Android devices. Tours in eight American cities are currently available for purchase at www.zeetoursapp.com, in the mobile app via in-app purchase and, on Friday, December 15, through the Groupon app and web site.
At launch, tours are available for purchase in Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin, Texas; Naples and Fort Myers, Florida; and three Orange County, California locations: Orange, Anaheim, and Newport Beach. Over the coming weeks, ZeeTours will become available in an additional 12 locations across the United States. Plans are currently in place to expedite growth to dozens of new tours in the first and second quarters of 2018.
"We take pride in our tour creation process, which includes rigorous research as well as multiple on-site field tests," said Rob Vardeman, President of Freeze Tag. "In order to meet demand and maintain excellence in our tours we have developed a system that will help us quickly grow to new regions within the next year."
Players interested in a self-guided ZeeTour may purchase a redeemable voucher code from Groupon (beginning December 15th) or the ZeeTours website, or automatically purchase specific tours using in-app purchases through the App Store or Google Play Store.
Through the Groupon partnership, Freeze Tag's management team expects to reach new markets and a previously untapped customer base. Billed as a family friendly adventure, ZeeTours is perfect for children of all ages, and an interactive and engaging real world experience for the whole family.
"We're excited for the marketing opportunity with Groupon," said Craig Holland, CEO of Freeze Tag. "We look forward to more expansion as well launching more ZeeTours through marketing partners throughout the upcoming year."
Featuring self-guided scavenger hunts, the ZeeTours smartphone app guides players around significant points of interest within a city location on a circular route. Players are given "challenges" to complete as they hunt for the next location. These challenges may be based on players' actual GPS location, a quiz, or some type of photo-based activity. Points of interest on a ZeeTour may be of historical significance indicated by a marker, artwork such as a sculpture, or public/commercial establishments of note such as parks, museums, or public buildings. ZeeTours players will explore, discover and exercise their way through cities across the USA.
