Public disclosure was made in Q1 2017 of the intention to organize additional capital funding. The circumstances of that financing will be finalized closer to implementation date. Innovators Community initiatives are expected to provide new sources of cashflow and positive additional business relationships for Winning Brands when the initiative is operationalized.

Q3 2017 brought additional enquiries from potential innovator JV partners.

In Q3 2017 the Company continued to benefit from the sub-contract staffing services put into place at the beginning of 2017. Through this plan, replacement of personnel by sub-contracting occurs after attrition of previous conventionally payrolled personnel. The staff infrastructure of Winning Brands’ manufacturing and distribution partners provides an extensive human resource pool to carry out the design, manufacture and delivery the Company’s products and services.

For the 9 months ending September 30, 2017 bottom line results continued to improve over the comparable period in 2016. The 2016 cumulative loss of $140,899 was replaced by a Q3 2017 net profit of $42,882.
The improvement arises from the combination of reduced operating costs, negotiated discounts and settlements of previously expensed items and improved sales to $103,001 by Q3 2017 compared with $90,220 in the corresponding period 2016. The cost recoveries are reflected in the expense accounts in which the charges were originally incurred.
Winning Brands has been systematically reducing its operating losses for several years and is now in a good position to benefit from an anticipated improvement in annual sales in 2017 and beyond.

FROM THE FIRST QUARTER FINANCIALS OF 2016 talking about Innovators Community: Management expects that Winning Brands’ long term future is significantly enhanced through this development, although the practical effects will not begin to be realized until Q3 or Q4 2017. Innovators Community initiatives are expected to provide substantial new sources of cashflow over the long term.

Hopefully we get word of the first partnership before the end of the year!
