CPI was just released and was inline...and gold took off on that report? Doesn't even make sense, but I guess the market was expecting hotter numbers.
Anyway, technicals mean ZERO today and anything goes. Let's see how it plays out.

I'm also going to go out on a limb and say at some point GDX, at minimum, touches EMA 8 today since today is exactly the 8th day since it last touched.
