The major difference between now and 2013-14 is that the fundamentals have changed significantly. I wouldn't wait around for $1.90, or whatever, shareholders can't be scared away as easily as they were then. It's possible that what we saw yesterday, on the heels of excellent news, is the 2017 version of what you describe.

I agree with you about stop losses, people simply don't understand how they work.
