Phil, I really think there was a missed opportunity with Clipsteam and that AntFarm got it right. Instead of looking for a universal solution, Destiny might have done quite well customizing Clipstream for individual institutional uses, as AntFarm does. So maybe there will be value in a sale on that basis. If they were anywhere near a universal solution, they would not have stopped the process.

I'm not a big MPE fan, even if they dominate it doesn't appear to have the potential to be a huge business. I understand they've moved their servers to the cloud (or whatever) and that saves them 20% or so, but I also see the cost of music deliveries declining for their customers and not sure if they can grow the business to overcome all that. It would be nice if they could sell MPE to UMG for a reasonable amount and everyone could go on to the next adventures in their lives.

Anyway, it was a great dream, I hope the company can stay in business and do well for its employees and that shareholders can at least get something worthwhile back on their investments. As the man said here years ago, bet the jockey not the horse, and our jockey just wasn't very good.
