I always expected Ether to follow Bitcoin to some degree. The BTC rage and super high price are bringing more speculation into altcoins.

Two old friends called me this past week to ask me my thoughts about bitcoin. One I think was interested in buying some and the other was interested in investing in mining hardware. One is a paramedic/firefighter and the other manages a truck wash.

The Litecoin appreciation caught me off guard but I guess it makes sense as Coinbase quotes all three and Litecoin is psychologically more attractive to the masses because it is less expensive to own 1 coin.

Now there are a bunch of folks that bought in the past week up a bunch. I'm sure some folks are considering pulling equity out of their homes because of this "no brainer" opportunity to riches.
