I understand your distaste for Kurt, his intellect and the way he ran this to nowhere but you're understandable frustration could be ameliorated by a more open approach.
You're looking for a sold path that leads to a reason for MMEG to rise. It does not need that. You may have set bar to high which can frustrate more. MMEG can move without a solid path, that is their best hope. Some event, news, fluff, scam or progress can bump it.

Sometimes teams with loosing records make the playoffs. Sometimes wildcard teams that had a bad year win the Super Bowl. Sometimes a halfway blind squirrel finds an acorn and sometimes stupid stocks with scam owners find a run. Life is not fair, organized or reasonable it just is.
