My comment - Right now the hot money is chasing Bitcoin and some of the other Cryptocurrencies. Hard to tell someone making money that they are doing it wrong. There are recent reports of people taking out home equity loans to buy cryptocurrencies.

What I am wondering is the potential change in business model direction of and valuation of cryptocurrencies being backed by gold. What trend will develop if the hot money moves over to this list of gold backed cryptocurrecy. If physical gold is vaulted to support this business model, I would think that there would be an increase in demand for physical gold delivery in the future. Maybe why there has been a recent reduction in COMEX naked short open interest.
