News out: Soupman company CFO plead guilty Monday

"A former executive of a soup company that licenses the recipes of the man who inspired a “Seinfeld” character admitted to omitting a key ingredient in running a business - paying taxes." "Robert Bertrand, the now-canned chief financial officer of Soupman Inc., pleaded guilty Monday to not paying the company’s taxes"

"When Brooklyn federal prosecutors unveiled the charges in May, they noted Soupman licenses Al Yeganeh’s name and recipes." "Bertrand is scheduled for sentencing in April. He faces up to 2 1/2 years, according to prosecutors."
