I think it was easier for 3DSIM to sell out as they has only a couple products, were a private company, with small staff, overhead, total number of Shareholders, etc.

Morf3D may be a target for acquisition as they are in the same boat.

Since it appears sigma couldn't seal the deal, I wouldn't be surprised if a much larger company looks into acquiring them.

Perhaps they intend on going it alone since they seem to have a very talented staff along with their innovation center and contracts with large corporations already.

Regardless of how it plays out, this network of Technology that has been being discussed is very intriguing, especially since a main topic is always in-situ process monitoring and IIoT, digital twin, data analytics, etc.

All Sigma Labs specialty.
