Since three year a shareholder and adding. I have been reading this board since then with many qualified but also less qualified posts......it's normal I guess and find this in other boards as well.
I started investing in Niocorp as I saw some elements I liked very much:
-experienced and excellent management team
-unique resource with unique future opportunities
-protected against hyperinflation
-very positive cash performance over time
in short, all elements W. Buffet normally considers before investing.
Since initial investment the development of the share price has been disappointing of course. On the other side if you keep on believing and doing some maths, this has become an opportunity to buy more for less. This is what I decided to do and what I have been doing so far.
Why? The moment financing will be there, and it will be there I strongly believe, the actual business case around the project will be de-risked again dramatically and NPV will increase. You might even be able to apply a lower discount rate. Of course, as part of the debt/equity project financing the number of shares will be diluted but even with 1.000.000.000 new shared to be issued, the share value as well as return will be very, very interesting. If Niobium/scandium prices will increase further over time (much more demand in future due to more applications/shortage of offering), future cash flows will increase even more. Not to say about the extended life and/or accelerated production of the mine.
In short: Niocorp is a LT investment, no speculation object, trust your thinking, keep patient and keep on adding once and a while if you have the possibility doing so. In 5 years we all will be extremely happy and even more happy afterwards. By the way, regarding the share price I expect to be very happy within a year again.
