I am a generalist . When I was in auditing my office did all sectors , automotive ( Ford Motor -General Motors) Pharma ( Johnson and Johnson - Upjohn -now Pfizer) Food ( MC Cain - Mars) even mining - we did eg Gecamines a mine in Zaïre) and Tobacco ( Rothmans) etc . We also did jobs for the government and one of mu assistants started management consulting in Belgium which was later sold to IBM; I worked in 1973- 1974 in the Toronto office and they had some mines as well.
One of my managers in Antwerp was also assisting Cisco with their bookkeeping in Europe when they were still nobody.
I think I learned a lot on start ups because my own office was a start up; We were only seven when I started in 1969 and it became a large office with a few hundreds in Antwerp and a couple of thousands in Belgium.

I know what it is when you are only with a few people building up a team.
But no I am not a mining specialist . But I surround myself with people who are...

I feel naked now telling too much about myself (lol). I am however proud of what I accomplished.
