Areva which is now effectively EDF has had major financial issues, but 3 million is a very tiny percent of their earnings if you consider EDF itself, probably less than 1%. They are not a mom and Pop shop they are one of the largest energy producers in the world. It's been a down market for nuclear and the French government recognizes this which is why they are bailing them out. Nuclear and Areva as part of EDF will rise again. The 3 million from LTBR is required in order for LTBR to retain a stake in their IP.
