He was also saying something about the limited amount of Bitcoin available and that there’s the possibility that more Bitcoin could be shorted than there are available to cover. I don’t really see why that’s any different than shorting stocks... the number of Bitcoin available doesn’t seem much different that the number of shares of a stock that are available??

I’m actually surprised that this Bitcoin thing has gone on so long. There’s not a lot of merchants that take it, and it’s not backed by anything.... it’s all about supply & demand atm...
