I have been saying that for a long time! Now here is his solution to enlist channel partners to handle the sales marketing and customer support for an undisclosed percentage of revenue . His goal most likely was to make enough sales and enabling enough endpoints to get noticed by the big players. Thus hoping for a bidding war. That has been obvious with his 2-4 license agreements on the books. You see with a license agreement he also does not have to spend the time and money to build and run a business he leaves it up to the licensee.

Now the problem he, his sales team and his channel partners haven't been able to sign any significant or real clients, that already have commercialized products and millions of endpoints that can produce ongoing revenue and provide high quality endorsements for the product. So Bruce is finally realizing since he can't get real sales then he needs independent expert third party recommendations and endorsements. I too have been saying this for a very long time.

So the light bulb finally went off for Bruce and now he is trying to build awareness with expert endorsements like G+C partners. It is a start, but a very small start and Bruce still has a long way to go. I still believe if Bruce gets recognised by independent cyber security testing labs like NSS Labs and marketing research firms like Forrester and the Gardner Group he will get the leg up he needs to make real sales. Just because G-C partners says the product has an innovative approach does necessarily make it better than the competition that is why a competitive analysis is extremely important part of this process. He still has to prove the product in the marketplace since expert endorsements only takes the product so far and revenue, endpoints and usage are still the end goal producing clients with rave reviews how great the product is!

So one can't get away from it that VLDI still needs real client sales via either license agreements, channel partners or direct sales producing real ongoing revenue and exponential growth.
