They absolutely don't not need to buy or acquire any bitcoins. They also do not need to put their own money into it. New currencies can created within minutes without putting money down(Google it), just like how pinky's like it. They can also say that they are working with other "companies" in the biz. Very very very unlikely, but not impossible. I doubt Viola even knows much if anything about crypto.
