Altos de Lipangue waits ramp up production
October 2017: Production may resume during the next few weeks to commission the Altos de Lipangue project. This is an Auryn Mining project that is comparable to the Andacollo copper mine operated by Teck (TSX: TECK; NYSE: TECK), located in the V Region.
Maurizio Cordova, CEO, said “We are currently constructing escape tunnels and chimneys, to comply with Sernageomin requirements. We believe that we could begin to ramp up production in November.

Today is December the 1st, 2017. November is history and has Auryn followed through on their “could begin” production in November on the Alto? What about the five shipments of ore from the Caren property that was mined in January of 2017, and shipped for processing. No news about that either.

But of course, Auryn has no obligation to provide any news or update about what is happening on the Alto because our sales contract with Auryn doesn’t demand any timeline or a requirement for news or updates. It is the mining season in Chile and any production efforts should be happening right now…!! Let’s hope we hear something soon. Maybe early next year after the mining season ends.

But my sources tell me that there has been very little activity by Auryn on the Alto, and certainly not any major production efforts. Guess that is why they haven’t provided any update or news. Maybe they have nothing to tell us!

So, thanks to Greg, Les, Juan, etc….with bated breath,we sit and wait, and wait…!!
