"he heard Roger say "the share price is not his main focus". WTF? My friend said he wouldn't invest in a CEO that would ever say such a stupid thing. LMAO "

I actually LOVE that he said that.

the job of a CEo is to build the company. If he focuses on the business and gets it running awesome, the stock price WILL follow.

If he focuses (Not "is concerned about" but "focuses" on) the stock price, then he puts out things to make the price go up, but are not really the best for the company. And you mentioned OWC. Yes, it ran to $3.20. Is it there NOW though? Not even close. I think when WE get to $3.20, and I DO think it is coming, we shall STAY there. Because we shall be there on the COMPANY being worth it, not the momo players hyping some PRs that are all sizzle and no steak. And we shall continue to grow form there. Yes, it will take LONGER to get there than OWC did. A lot longer. But we shall stay there.

And there are many that made money on OWC, but even they know it was a pump and dump. Sorry to say, but it was. It was never going to stay there. You just had to keep buying it to get it up, and then they all sold, and it crashed big time.

As an investor, and not a flipper, I would not only RATHER he say the BUSINESS is his focus and not the stock, but I would SELL (After the pump) on a stock where the CEO said the stock was his primary focus. It's GOTTA be the company that is the focus. the business. Growing the firm. And then the LONG term holders shall be with you for literally YEARS, and they shall be handsomely rewarded. SO if your friends did not invest, that is their choice. It's always our own choice. But there are others of us who invest exactly for the reason your friends did not. smile Oh, and as we grow and move to bigger markets? The investor mentality changes more and more to what I am saying, and less of what you are saying. W hat you are saying works for penny stocks, but not for bigger companies. Compare us to Dave and Buster's if you want. They are into gaming, although not exactly like us. They focus on running their business, not on whether the stock moves up or down a specific day. And we shall do the same as we grow.

Different strokes for different folks. But I loved what he said at that moment.

(I can't talk many things about what is going on right now, but I can still answer philosophy) smile
