If you really need some kind of validity then send the Company an Email.

By putting out a statement like you did opens the door for someone to say "ah see Steve isn't replying to us shareholders and giving proof of contracts"
Steve is a Business Man. Treat him with respect and you will get a response from him. I have sent emails to him with questions of my own. Give it a try.
