...interesting (and I believe you are accurate) commentary.

Someone else said...in effect big tobacco should be targeting and promoting in their ads "LVN" as the holy grail to smoke cessation...

Why would they tout a product they don't make?...even more foolish is the fact that there is no LVN mandated or approved by FDA...so how could they, and why would they?

It is like asking GM to promote Tesla in their ads under the premise electric cars are more environmentally safe. FDA making them do it...is classic totalitarianism ... Government mandating and controlling the operations of private enterprise (vs regulating product).
