If you Google a bit, you'll find that there have been a lot of companies listed on stock exchanges, that kept confidential settlements, confidential.

Like this one for instance, a Nasdaq listed company:

HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. (NASDAQ: BECN) announced today that it reached a settlement agreement with SRS Distribution, Inc. in litigation filed by Beacon in 2014 in Miami-Dade County, Florida Circuit Court. Business terms of the confidential settlement agreement with SRS were not made publicly available. The litigation remains pending against the two former SRS employees who Beacon also named as Defendants in the lawsuit.
