A rather droll sidelight to this is that another physics professor at Princeton wrote a book denying that his friend and colleague Einstein ever had the educational problems described by others [including Einstein himself].

Today arpies [Asperger'syndrome] and much smaller numbers of other learning disabled are bunched together in a spurious autistic syndrome and then labeled simply autistics, thus harming both.

Even Temple Grandin included DaVinci, the very epitome of a renaissance man, with the like of Einstein and herself among visual learners because of DaVinci's purported visual dyslexia.

The difference between DaVinci's incredible ability to encompass a deep knowledge of most all areas of study and Einstein's laser like focus on a specialized area could hardly be more profound.
