Once again, your analysis is spot on. Can't argue with what you are saying. Sadly, you miss the key paragraph on the blog:

HVE uses VMware View alongside Teradici’s PC-over-IP APEX2800 offload engine cards for a seamless user experience, and the VMware Sphere Stack is customized with platform specific engineered VMWare View configurations. HVE solutions have been optimized for performance, cost, and operational agility, and the open platform allows their team of highly qualified engineers to develop custom solutions for customers of all types and sizes.

Please note that the HVE solution relies on VMware products and technologies, not Sphere's. This is the same VMware technology stack that "Glassware makes irrelevant" according to Sphere founders and senior leadership.

So, perhaps you can tell us why Sphere is now reselling VMware products. Heck, tell us why they bought a VMware reseller if their own home grown solution makes VMware irrelevant and redundant?

And suggesting data centers are a large market for unproven technology from Sphere, a company teetering on insolvency, is akin to saying that the earth is covered in highways and roads, thus Bob's Horse and Buggy Builders is a great investment.

I am sure we all look forward to your explanation why Sphere is reselling VMware when Glassware makes it irrelevant. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

"We are tired of development, now is the time to sell, sell, sell" - Sphere CEO Peter Tassiopoulos, Feb 2014
